TEA CULTURE – Chinese Museum

Five floors of Chinese Australian History dating back 200 years.  Exhibitions about the Han Dynasty, Tea Heaven (about the culture of tea) and the home of Dai Loong.

Tea Culture – the refined art of preparing and drinking Chinese tea will also be explained, with a display of teawares – the implements required to undertake the ceremony Includes a teapot exhibition, tea ceremony, traditional music and tea tasting

This exhibition follows the evolution of tea through the dynasties.  It shows the evolution of the tea process, the history of the tea trade and the variety of teas grown and the history of tea grown around China.
